This is our first time reviewing a podcast from The Rich Roll Podcast, and we’re really excited to talk about it with you guys. Before we get into the topics on this podcast, let’s quickly talk about Rich Roll’s background so you have more of an idea moving forward.

For starters, he’s a graduate of Cornell Law School and Stanford University. His background in the fitness industry is astounding; garnering numerous achievements and an impressive resume to boot. This commanding knowledge in the field has led him to be the #1 bestselling author in 2012 for his memoir “Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself.” And in 2013, The Rich Roll Podcast was born.

And for episode #349 of the podcast, he will be interviewing Joel Kahn. For you that do not know who Joel Kahn is, he’s one of the biggest advocates of plant-based nutrition which is the main topic of this podcast. Dr. Kahn believes that it is the most powerful fuel that people can use as preventative medicine.

In 1983, after committing years of himself to the traditional cardiologist ways, he finally began diving into the unknown and testing this plant-based idea for himself. This new gained knowledge has pushed him to look past what he has known and move towards a more holistic way of medicine. As a doctor that has saved many lives through his work, his main goal as a holistic practitioner is to be able prevent more health issues through this effective lifestyle.
