Kegenix Prime Review
Is This Product Worth Buying?
Kegenix Prime is one of several different supplements available today that's intended to augment your ketogenic diet in order to provide or enhance the benefits you enjoy from the low carb lifestyle. The supplement is the brainchild of a South Florida physician who was in search of ways to provide the effects of ketosis whether one was on the keto diet plan or not. If that sounds familiar to you, it should, because that's exactly what MCT oil is purported to do quite effectively already. And indeed Kegenix leans heavily on MCT oil in its formulation. Because of that, some reviewers dismiss the product as just MCT powder under a different name. But is there anything to the promotional claims that this product is more than just repackaged MCT product? Let's take a look.
Kegenix Prime's Possible Benefits:
The impetus of this product is easy enough to understand because the body's transition from using carbs for energy to using fats for energy isn't always a walk in the park. Sometimes it can be accompanied by some unpleasant side effects like the ‘keto flu' and general fatigue. Kegenix Prime is intended to smooth over the rough spots of that transition or, alternately, to provide some limited ketosis-style benefits for those who aren't willing to go all in on the low-carb lifestyle. But as we said, MCT products will do those things already. So, what are the specific benefits of this product that make it worth the investment?
If those benefits sound impressive, it's because they are. No one here is saying otherwise. The product works as advertised and should in most cases produce most or all of those advertised benefits. The thing is, so will MCT oil and other MCT powders intended to be mixed with coffee, etc. What we were looking for/hoping for was some previously untapped benefit that would separate Kegenix Prime from the crowd, and we didn't really find that.
What are the Ingredients?
The ingredients used in Kegenix Prime are intended as we said to provide your body with the ability to make a smoother transition to ketosis or to provide short-term ketosis-related benefits for the purposes of working out or just enjoying a boost of energy to start the day. Those ingredients are:
In addition, the product contains several other ingredients intended to aid in its effectiveness. They include silicon dioxide, malic acid, disodium phosphate, and maltodextrin.
How Does Kegenix Prime Taste?
The product is available in Orange Blast, Wild Berry and Fruit Medley flavors. We have to say that while we weren't openly put off by the taste of the product, the makers would be wise to go back to the flavor drawing board because whatever they're trying to do it's not really working. It's the biggest drawback to what is otherwise a fine, if predictable, product.
Are there Side Effects to Using it?
The side effect that is most often cited when it comes to Kegenix Prime is tension and a general feeling of unease. Other possible side effects include:
While none of these side effects is by itself necessarily a deal breaker (and to be sure not everyone experiences them) if you’re beset by 2 or more simultaneously you may start to question your decision to use Kegenix Prime.
Where Can I Buy Kegenix Prime?
Kegenix Prime is available on Amazon as well as a slew of other, lower profile online retailers. It's competitively priced compared to other products and shipping is usually free. All of that said it's difficult for us to recommend purchasing it for the simple reason that it doesn't bring anything new to the table. But if you are still keen to buy the product, you can do so by clicking this link where you'll find the current price for it.
Can We Recommend it?
Does the product work as advertised? Sure. It does what it says it's going to do, which is essentially what MCT products do. As such it's tough for us to recommend you purchase Kegenix if you already have MCT oil/powders at home because the results will be essentially the same. Plus the failure of the product from a taste perspective is another reason why we cannot give Kegenix Prime our unqualified endorsement. It's difficult to understand how the manufacturer could have determined that the taste of this product was market ready because, frankly, it's not. There may be some folks out there for whom the taste won't be a big deal, but for us, we'd want to see some improvement in this area before we could recommend it.
Our suggestion is that if you're looking for a ketogenic supplement that will provide similar or even slightly better results than Kegenix try Perfect Keto instead. It's effective, it's stood the test of time, it has no side-effects, and it won't have you shaking your head at the taste. That's Perfect Keto for a more satisfying keto supplement experience.
