Keto Burn Xtreme Review
The keto diet is one of the biggest stories of the last 10 years. Its rise from obscurity to prominence has been driven by the obesity epidemic and the need for new weight loss solutions. The keto diet itself is not new however.
It has been in existence for over a century and is proven to produce significant and sustainable weight loss.
The level of attention being given to keto these days was destined to attract a slew of unscrupulous types looking to cash in. And sure enough they’ve emerged from the woodwork in droves to sell questionable products to people who lack a basic knowledge of ketosis and how it works.
Keto Burn Xtreme claims it’s the real deal and some reviews support this claim. Below we’re going to put it to the test.
How Do You Get Started on Keto?
You get started on keto by restricting the amount of carbohydrates you eat to 20-30 grams per day.
That’s the right way to do it. After 2 or 3 days you will automatically enter metabolic ketosis as your body gives up on looking for carbs and decides to burn fat.
The wrong way to get started on keto is to pick up something like Keto Burn Xtreme and think that it’s going to tip you into ketosis without your having to change your eating habits. It won’t.
All you’ll wind up doing is peeing out the exogenous ketones you get from the weight loss pills and you won’t lose any weight.
How Much Weight Can You Lose on Keto?
The amount of weight you can lose on keto is limited only by the amount of available fat in your body. That’s because ketosis is the body’s natural way of ensuring we can get through the lean times.
The fat stores on our gut and butt that are so problematic are actually part of this whole keto mechanism.
When we eat carbohydrates any excess is turned by our system into fat. This fat is designed to be used at a later date when food is scarce. Like a bear packing on weight in preparation for the long, lean winter to come.
Today, however, food is rarely scarce. At least for people in the West. Therefore we carry this excess weight around with us for years. Not only that, but we continue to add more and more fat to these emergency stores until it reaches levels that start to interfere with our health.
But it was never meant to be this way. We were supposed to fatten up during good times and then burn this fat through ketosis when food was scarce. The keto diet then is a way to initiate an emergency fat burn and rid yourself of this unneeded reserve fuel.
Of course the danger is that if you’re not careful you could wind up losing an amount of weight that is simply not healthy.
So once you reach your desired weight you’ll need to find a balance between the amount of fat you’re burning and the amount of fat you are consuming.
"Although both fasting and a keto diet will allow you to achieve ketosis, only a keto diet is sustainable over long periods of time."

What is Keto Burn Xtreme?
Keto Burn Xtreme is another in a series of keto diet-related supplements that claims to be able to help you achieve ketosis and reap its benefits without restricting carb intake.
Of course, if you know anything about ketosis you know that is virtually impossible.
There are actually only a few supplements on the market that provide a potent enough mix of exogenous BHB ketones to be able to make that claim.
And Keto Burn Xtreme is not one of those items.
The company behind the product goes to great lengths to conceal their name and location information.
In fact, they work so hard to hide who they are that, if you purchase Keto Burn Xtreme through the official website, the charge on your credit card says “Men’s Supplement” and not the company name.
The product is distributed in the US by a company we’ve seen before in our reviews - Nutra4 LLC - and bears more than a passing resemblance to other Nutra4 LLC products both in packaging and ingredients.
Extensive testing on our part indicates Keto Burn Xtreme simply can’t put you into ketosis, no matter what their marketing says.
If you want to derive any benefit from these kinds of weight loss supplements you’ll need to first get yourself into ketosis by restricting carbs in your diet.
Then, and only then, do you stand a chance of deriving some benefit from Keto Burn Xtreme. If you don’t restrict carbs then all you’re going to do with the ketones you ingest from Keto Burn is pee them out over the course of the day.
What are the ingredients in Keto Burn Xtreme?
The Keto Burn Xtreme ingredient list is a familiar one to read. It includes 3 different kinds of BHB ketone salts and a variety of artificial fillers.
Since this is a pill there is no flavor here. Just exogenous BHB ketones along with rice flour as a filler, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
The BHB salts sounds good, since BHB ketones are what the body uses to metabolize fat during ketosis.
But we don’t know what ketone salts they’re using because we couldn’t get the product to initiate ketosis. Only to enhance it once our testers had already achieved it by limiting their carb intake.
Keep in mind that the FDA does not regulate this type of supplement the way it does medications, food additives, preservatives and even skin care products.
Supplements come under a much more open-ended set of guidelines that are not an important priority for the agency.
Therefore outrageous marketing claims are much easier to get away with for this type of product than they are for say, an antidepressant or seizure medication. At least for the time being. Maybe that will change at some point.
That said, the effectiveness, or rather ineffectiveness of the BHB ketones used in these weight loss pills are not the only red flag.
As we mentioned they also contain magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Two compounds both the FDA and the EU say need to be studied in more depth because they have both demonstrated the potential to cause health problems.
So to sum up, the Keto Burn ingredient list includes:
● BHB ketone salts - Ineffective, in this case, at initiating natural ketosis.
● Magnesium stearate - Also used in skin care products. Potentially problematic. Health questions.
● Silicon dioxide - Potentially problematic. Health questions.
When you read the information label you might think this supplement is free of caffeine. However, our testers noted the feel of a very real caffeine-type buzz after taking this product.
And that raised a whole bunch of red flags. Because the company cloaks their BHB mixture behind the “proprietary blend” label, we’d be willing to bet that caffeine has been added at some point in the process (to increase energy) and then squirreled away beneath several layers of proprietary blend camouflage.
How to use Keto Burn Xtreme?
Like all similar keto diet pills there’s no mystery here. You take 1 Keto Burn Xtreme capsule 20 minutes or so before eating.
And you do that twice a day for a total of 2 weight loss pills per day.
If you want to enjoy the benefits of the ketogenic diet including weight loss, greater mental clarity, stable blood sugars, reduced appetite and more energy, you’ll make sure those meals are pretty much devoid of carbs.
In addition, our testers experienced a very real and quite significant caffeine-style rush after taking these.
We don’t think that’s just an accident. And in light of those caffeine buzzes the directions to drink a lot of water when taking this weight loss supplement make a lot more sense.
Because if there is dehydrated caffeine powder in these weight loss pills you’ll need plenty of water to avoid developing a stomach ache after taking them.
So make sure you drink 1 or 2 glasses of water with each pill. And if you have a sensitivity to caffeine we’d recommend skipping on these entirely.
