Now, there are supplements like Keto Lean that claim they can initiate ketosis without your having to restrict your carbohydrate intake.

But the fact is that most products that make that claim are just blowing smoke because they aren’t potent enough to override your body’s natural preference for carbs.

What is Keto Lean?

Keto Lean is a weight loss pill whose manufacturers specialize in hype.

If you have the, uh, pleasure to read any of their marketing you’ll note that they dive right into the hard sell with the claim that their BHB ketones {exogenous ketones} represent a “revolutionary breakthrough”.

Hogwash. Ketones have been known to science since the mid-19th century.

And the keto diet? That was perfected and first put to use for medical purposes more than a hundred years ago. So in 1910 its health benefits might have seemed revolutionary.

Today, it’s old news that is getting a new spotlight shined on it. That’s because there are so many people who’ve wasted time on fad diets but still need a way to lose weight and rediscover their lean body mass.

So Keto Lean keto pills are not revolutionary. Or even particularly effective. And we’ll get into that more below.

About the only claim the marketing for this product makes that might have a sliver of truth to it is that it can help you get into ketosis faster.

Note the word “help”. Because, by themselves Keto Lean weight loss pills won’t do much of anything except raise the levels of ketones in your pee.

But for those already eating a low-carb ketogenic diet they might be able to help you reduce the amount of time it takes you to get into ketosis from several days to a couple of days. If you’re hoping for more than that our research indicates you’ll be disappointed.

What are the ingredients in Keto Lean?

We have a challenge for you.

Try and find a detailed list of what’s in Keto Lean without actually buying it and looking at the bottle. 

We’ll save you the time and frustration and just tell you that you won’t be able to.

That right there should be an enormous red flag that something is not right with this product.

A company that was proud of their supplement would have no problem listing the ingredients for easy inspection.

Not Keto Lean however. 

They try and blind you with bikinis and baffle you with BS so that you won’t notice that they don’t actually tell you what you’re buying. And that ain’t good from where we’re sitting.

Because we’re thorough types, however, we bought some for ourselves for testing purposes and were able to take a look at the mysterious ingredients list. The main ingredients consist of:

●        Forskolin - This is a curious include since it’s mainly known as a traditional medicine that has been used over time to treat everything from intestinal worms to syphilis.

Exactly how this is supposed to initiate ketosis or what it has to do with low-carb diets is anyone’s guess. But there it is.

●        Garcinia cambogia - This plant, otherwise known as malabar tamarind, will be familiar to those who subscribe to the idea that natural fat loss pills are the best.

Garcinia cambogia is reputed to have the ability to block your body from storing excess carbs as fat and thereby reduce body weight. Although there is virtually no clinical evidence to support this claim.

●        BHB ketones - BHB (Beta-Hydroxybutyrate) ketones are what make the keto diets world go ‘round. Without them there is no ketosis. Without ketosis there is no metabolizing fat into energy. And without that no lean body mass.

The thing is though that Keto Lean doesn’t specify exactly how much of which BHB ketones you get.

And if you don’t get the right ones in the right quantities and you don’t exercise they won’t do much for you. And if you’re not already in a low-carb diet-induced state of ketosis they won’t help you at all.

How to Use Keto Lean

In terms of how to take it, it is recommended that you take 1 capsule with water at 2 different points during the day.

It apparently doesn’t matter when, or if you take them with or without food.

And that’s fine because our research indicates that they’re not going to give much benefit anyway.

All they’ll do is make your bank account a bit smaller and add some nifty chemical compounds to your pee.

Does Keto Lean Actually Work?

Our research indicates that if you take Keto Lean when you begin to eat your high-fat, low-carb moderate protein keto diet that it might help you achieve a state of ketosis a bit faster than if you didn’t use it.

So it seems to have some beneficial effect promoting ketosis. But only when used in concert with a strict keto diet meal plan. 

If you were hoping you’d be able to eat pizza and pasta 3 times a week and burn fat just by popping a Keto Lean capsule as you leave the pizza parlor, forget it.

Not gonna happen.

Will it help you stabilize your blood sugar? Not by itself.
