Keto Plus Review
Is It Really That Effective?
The weight loss supplement market for the keto diet is full of fancy products that are endorsed by celebrities.
Fancy marketing often takes over, and you wonder if the companies are spending more on branding than R&D, right?
Looking at some details of Keto Plus you would think that the exogenous ketones in the form of goBHB salts would perfectly support your low-carbs diet, but there are a few things that we don’t like so much about it.
So, before you rush out and buy it, take a look at what we found out from our own test results.
What Is Keto Plus?
Keto Plus is a ketogenic supplement marketed as a health booster to get you over those first weeks of your new lifestyle and speed up your road to ketosis.
No matter how well you adapt to the new low-carb food with careful dietary tracking and planning, there will be a few days or even weeks when you don’t feel so great.
This is the phase where your body is going through a drastic shift, and most people will be very susceptible to big promises.
The makers of this product make big promises in that they say it will get you to ketosis fast and increase your weight loss while you’re at it.
And the way the advertising looks, you would swear you just have to pop a few pills and watch the pounds drop off with no need for any workout plan. All thanks to some highly effective goBHB salts.
The big question is “Does it work?”
The answer is “kind of,” so let’s look at why that is.
What Are The Ingredients?
The main ingredients in Keto Plus are Calcium, Magnesium and Sodium Beta Hydroxybutyrate, along with Magnesium Stearate, gelatin, silicon dioxide, and rice flower.
The Beta Hydroxybutyrate contents are BHB salts (see our list) that artificially boost your ketone levels.
They should, in theory, support your ketogenic diet efforts, and we’ll get into how well they actually work further down.
But what we don’t like is that they hide behind a proprietary blend for their formula of goBHB salts.
Essentially, you have no idea what the proportions are, which creates one really annoying problem. If you take other supplements, then you can quickly take in too many of these.
While they are generally classified as safe, taking excessive amounts can lead to some side effects that we’ll get to shortly. The other substances listed above basically have no dietary benefit and essentially bind the active ingredients together into a convenient pill.
They are very commonly used, but it is important to note that the gelatin is not certified as animal product free.
So, as far as the formula goes, all this is a negative for us.
Some companies do not disclose full information about the contents of their products, stating instead that theirs is a “proprietary blend”. The trouble with this is that although you know the ingredients of the product, you often don’t know the quantities, and you have no idea how much BHB you are getting for your money.

How To Use Keto Plus:
Basically, you should take two of these Keto diet pills once a day about 30 minutes before a meal.
Simply wash them down with 8 ounces of water and your stomach will take care of the rest. Make sure you don’t drink too little as this will slow the absorption process down a bit.
The promise then is that it burns through fat for drastic weight loss. It sounds plausible, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
How Does it Taste?
The keto plus diet pills basically have no flavor at all. This is for two simple reasons.
Firstly, the pills are designed to be swallowed whole without chewing them. Secondly, the active ingredients are in such small quantities that it would be very difficult to detect any taste at all.
With all this in mind, we have come to the conclusion that it’s not the ideal product, and here’s why.
Does it Actually Work?
The simple answer is yes, it will give you a little boost in your blood ketone level, but it’s not some magic weight loss pill that requires no additional effort.
We’ve also seen comments that you can just take these pills and not bother with keto altogether.
And that’s simply not true. You won’t get anywhere near the same results.
Considering the price and the fact that you don’t actually get a full breakdown of the product’s components, it’s just not quite good enough to get our seal of approval.
One other important thing to look at is the side effects before you actually make your final decision.
Are There Side Effects To Using Keto Plus?
While the formulation of this product is generally deemed safe, it is important to note that taking excessive amounts can have some side effects.
While goBHB salts will help to reduce the early effects of a keto diet, taking too many can actually make them worse.
Nausea, stomach discomfort, and diarrhea are the most common effects, and we have heard people complain about these because they took other supplements that provided too much of the BHB ketones.
And that’s all down to a stupid proprietary blend.
Where Can I Buy Keto Plus?
Bottom Line: Should You Buy Keto Plus?
Whether you’re new to the ketogenic diet or are a seasoned pro who goes through regular phases, diet supplementation is going to be the best way to boost your energy levels and weight loss efforts.
Keto Plus is a decent product, and it will give you some benefits.
However, if you want to see some serious results, then Purefit KETO is a must-try.
It is absorbed by the body very quickly and even on its own helps to trigger ketosis-like effects. To this day I still use this as an occasional booster, and the product has shown good results.
