Keto Rise Review
Should It Be Your Go-To Keto Diet Performance Booster?
Ever since my own stupidity managed to kick me out of my hard earned-ketosis when I first started, I’ve been extra cautious when it comes to nutrition supplements.
What happened to me at that time was that I was using a protein powder that was laced with carbs.
I know, utter stupidity.
Ever since then I pay extra attention to ingredients, but I’m also very doubtful of how well a lot of these new ketogenic diet products actually work.
Fancy marketing and flashy labels usually mean just one thing.
So, when someone asked me about Sports Keto Rise and how well it might work to support ketosis and burn fat, I had to find out.
The results were mixed, but let’s start with what it’s meant to do.
What Is Keto Rise?
Basically, it’s an exogenous ketone with added caffeine that is designed to boost physical energy and performance as well as increase mental clarity.
Unlike many other available products, the makers don’t go overboard with claims of getting you to ketosis in a matter of hours (OK, I did exaggerate a bit there).
Most of the marketing materials actually focus on this keto diet product helping with fitness levels by allowing you to work out harder and longer.
It’s a great concept, and the idea of using ketones to achieve this certainly makes sense.
It’s actually what my favorite product, Purefit, does and the health benefits of such natural energy boosts can be significant.
While an initial look at online reviews and the product descriptions look promising, there always seems to be a catch.
And I think we’ve been able to confirm some.
What Are The Ingredients In Keto Rise?
As for the vitamins, it contains loads of A, C, D, K, B6, B12, which are all highly beneficial for your health.
Finally, Keto Rise also contains organic caffeine from green coffee beans.
It’s something to be aware of, especially if you’re sensitive to caffeine or tend to drink a lot of coffee.
On the downside, some of the mental clarity will come from the caffeine, so it could be masking a lack of effectiveness from the other ingredients.
The main focus ingredients of this ketogenic supplement are beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) salts and a large selection of vitamins.
It’s the BHB that helps to boost your ketones during your keto diet, and one thing we really like about Keto Rise is the fact that they don’t hide behind a patent or proprietary blend.
So many other products muddy the water and make a big deal out of the fact that they cannot share their “secret sauce.”
We usually call BS on that.
How To Use Keto Rise
Basically, you just need a shaker and add one scoop to 16 ounces of water.
The best time to take it is first thing in the morning or just before you hit the gym for some extra energy.
This is particularly helpful in the early stages of a keto diet, but also if you hit a weight loss plateau.
Some companies do not disclose full information about the contents of their products, stating instead that theirs is a “proprietary blend.” The trouble with this is that although you know the ingredients of the product, you often don’t know the quantities, and you have no idea how much BHB you are getting for your money.”
How Does Keto Rise Taste?
If you’ve had a few different protein shakes, then you know how nasty the flavor can be.
It’s incredible what some companies actually sell.
The Valencia orange flavor of Keto Rise is actually reasonably good, but I did find it a little sweet, kind of like an energy drink with artificial sweeteners.
Does Keto Rise Actually Work?
The most honest answer is that it works in certain situations.
If you’re in the early stages of the keto diet, then this product will help with reducing the flu-like symptoms.
Brain fog won’t be as severe, and you won’t feel as sleepy as you otherwise would.
However, as far as energy boosting goes once you hit full ketosis, then I honestly think it falls quite a bit short.
I found that a high fat snack before a high-intensity training session provided just as much, if not more of a fuel boost.
Compared to Purefit, which I use before every trip to the gym, I could actually see in my training data that there wasn’t as much of an increase.
So, for the induction phase it will help, but after that, you’ll be left with probably half a tub of powder that does very little.
Are There Side Effects To Using Keto Rise?
Ketogenic nutrition supplements do sometimes cause side effects.
These mainly affect the stomach with a sick feeling or diarrhea.
Most often this happens if you double dose, and if you do notice such negative effects then make sure you reduce the dose immediately.
Where Can I Buy Keto Rise?
Before you head off to buy this, just make sure you check out our Purefit test results.
For about the same price you get a much better product.
But if you absolutely want to give Keto Rise a try, then make sure you buy it at Amazon.
It’s difficult to find in stores, and there are too many fakes online to take any chances.
Bottom Line: Should You Buy Keto Rise?
I honestly think that Keto Rise doesn’t quite live up to all the claims, and despite having seen some positive effects, you will do a lot better with your keto diet efforts using Purefit.
Not only is it very reasonably priced, but it actually lives up to a lot of the promises.
It’s an excellent product for getting over the keto-flu and works really well as a pre-workout supplement as well.
It’s important to note though that none of these products are magic pills that will burn away fat. You’ll still need to stick to low-carbs, high-fat and protein foods to get the results you want.
